How to Join a Class

Once your request to join a school is approved, you are not yet a full member of a class. Here's how the class assignment works:

  1. Class Assignment by School Admin
    After approval, the school admin must manually assign you to a class. This could be:

    • The class you selected when submitting your join request

    • Or a different class, based on the school’s internal decision

  2. What Happens Before Class Assignment
    Even though your school page becomes available after approval, it will remain empty:

    • No class information will be visible

    • No timetable, lessons, announcements, or assignments will appear

    • You cannot interact with class content or teachers yet

  3. What Changes After Assignment
    Once the school admin assigns you to a class:

    • Your Student Panel (especially in the mobile app) will update automatically

    • You will see your class name, teacher, and full schedule

    • You’ll gain access to lessons, assignments, exams, class announcements, and chat

  4. If There’s a Delay
    If you’ve been approved but still don’t see class details:

    • Wait for the admin to complete the class assignment

    • If it takes too long, consider contacting the school directly or reaching out to mTalim Support
